BLACKPINK confirmed to hold a concert in Hanoi

BLACKPINK’s JISOO’s ‘FLOWER’ MV Breaks 300 Million Views in 88 Days

According to YG Entertainment on the 28th, JISOO’s ‘FLOWER’ music video exceeded 300 million views on YouTube around 6:22 PM the previous day. It joined the ranks of the team’s 23rd video to hit 300 million views in about 88 days since its release on March 31st.

The music video shot straight to number 1 on YouTube Worldwide trending immediately after its release, and achieved 100 million views in just seven days. This was attributed to the wide-ranging charm of JISOO captured in a chapter format and the performance that maximized the theme of the song.

The title track ‘FLOWER’ from JISOO’s first solo album [ME] is a standout track with its unique bass sound and minimal arrangement. It topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 64 countries, including the United States. It also reached number 2 on the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts.

‘FLOWER’ set new records for K-pop female solo artists, achieving 6th place on the Spotify Daily Top Songs Global chart, 38th place on the UK Official Singles Top 100 chart, and breaking 100 million streams on Spotify in just 32 days. The album [ME] on which this song is included, sold 1,172,351 copies in just a week, making it the first ‘million-seller’ album by a K-pop female solo artist.

BLACKPINK is currently conducting the largest-scale world tour by a K-pop girl group, ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK],’ which is expected to attract approximately 1.5 million attendees. After successfully concluding their performance in Australia and moving into the latter part of the tour, they plan to go to Paris and once again connect with French fans.
